Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Recplay mobile app and websites at recplay.io and app.recplay.io (the “Service”), operated by JN Innovation, LLC (“us,” “we,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account, and you must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

The Service

Recplay helps players discover and join recreational sports — venues, leagues, tournaments, pickup games, and communities — and helps venue operators organize and manage them. Features and availability may change over time.

Payments

Event registration and other paid features are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Prices, fees, and any applicable platform fees are shown before you pay. Refunds, cancellations, and waitlist handling for a specific event are set by the venue or organizer hosting that event. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method for the amounts you approve.

SMS / text messaging terms

Recplay sends transactional text messages in connection with the Service — for example, when another member invites you to a game, tournament, doubles pairing, or community, and related registration and account notifications. These messages are triggered by activity in the app; we do not send marketing or promotional bulk texts.

• Consent. By providing your mobile number, or by being invited by a Recplay member who provides your number and confirms they have your permission to be contacted, you consent to receive these transactional messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message frequency varies based on your activity and the invitations you send or receive.
• Message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier plan.
• Opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact us at support@recplay.io.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your content

You retain your rights to the content you post (profiles, messages, photos, and other materials). You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate the rights of others. By posting content on the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute it as needed to operate and provide the Service, including making it available to other users where you choose to share it. We may, but are not obligated to, monitor or remove content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break the law, infringe others’ rights, or harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
• Send spam, or invite people to text messages without their permission.
• Post false, misleading, obscene, or infringing content.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.

Intellectual property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding user content) are and remain the exclusive property of JN Innovation, LLC and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our name, logo, and trademarks may not be used without our prior written permission.

Third-party links & services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party sites and services (such as payment, mapping, and messaging providers). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Recreational sports carry an inherent risk of injury; you participate at your own risk and, where a venue or organizer requires it, subject to any waiver you sign for a specific event.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JN Innovation, LLC and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JN Innovation, LLC and its licensors and personnel from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it; if any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will provide notice through the Service or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
