Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how JN Innovation, LLC (“Recplay,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Recplay mobile app, our websites at recplay.io and app.recplay.io, and related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following, only as needed to run the Service:

Account & profile. Name, email address, mobile phone number, city/location, sports and skill level, and an optional profile photo you provide.
Activity. The games, leagues, tournaments, communities, and venues you join or create; registrations; messages and content you post; and invitations you send or receive.
Payments. When you pay for an event, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your card or mobile-wallet details. Recplay does not store full card numbers on our servers. We keep a record of your registrations and purchases.
Location. With your permission, your device’s approximate or precise location, so we can show you venues, courts, and games near you. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.
Device & usage. Basic device information and, if you opt in, a push-notification token, so we can deliver notifications and keep the Service secure and reliable.
Session recordings & diagnostics. Recordings of your app sessions, plus crash and performance data, used to diagnose problems and improve the app. See Session recording & analytics below for what this includes.

How we use your information

Provide, operate, and improve the Service and your account.
Let you register for events, join communities, and connect with other players and venues.
Send transactional messages — invitations, confirmations, reminders, and account notices (see SMS below).
Process payments and prevent fraud and abuse.
Provide customer support and respond to your requests.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not run ad networks on the Service.

Session recording & analytics

To find and fix problems and to understand how the app is used, we use LogRocket (session replay and product analytics) and Sentry (crash and performance monitoring).

LogRocket records your app sessions — the screens you view, your taps and navigation, and the network requests the app makes. Because these recordings capture what appears on and is entered into your screen, they can include personal information — for example your profile details, the contents of messages you send or read, and data returned by our servers. Recordings are linked to your account so that we can reproduce a problem you report.

We use recordings and diagnostics only to operate, debug, secure, and improve the Service. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with data brokers. You can ask us to delete your session recordings at any time by contacting support@recplay.io, and deleting your account also removes them.

SMS / text messaging & mobile data

If you provide a mobile number — or if a Recplay member invites you using your number — we may send you transactional text messages, such as an invitation to a game, tournament, doubles pairing, or community, and related registration or account notifications. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not remove you from the Service — you can still use the app and receive in-app and email notifications.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to operate the Service:

Service providers (processors) who work on our behalf under confidentiality obligations — for example Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure data hosting), Twilio (SMS), LogRocket (session replay and product analytics), Sentry (crash and performance monitoring), our email provider, our push-notification provider, and mapping/places providers (including Google and OpenStreetMap). They may use your information only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes.
Other users, when you choose to — e.g., your name and profile are visible to people in a game or community you join, and to a venue you register with.
Legal & safety — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Recplay, our users, or the public.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We protect your information with encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a material data breach as required by law.

Your choices & rights

View and update your profile information in the app at any time.
Opt out of texts (reply STOP) or turn off push notifications in your device settings.
Turn off location access for Recplay at any time in your device settings.
Delete your account. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account. Some records — such as payment and waiver records we must retain for legal, tax, and accounting purposes — are kept as described above.
You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us (see below). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA.

Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the Service.
